• What does "sustainable" mean?

  • Sustainable means living within the limits you have. Living in a way where there's enough for everyone, no matter where they are, forever.​

• Jack Johnson once said "whenever there's a problem in society, the best way to deal with that problem is tackling it at an educational level."​

  • The best way to take on a problem in society is learning about it, and that's what YES Futures is all about.​

• All the students taking on a Youth Envisioning Sustainable Futures project is learning about a problem we have, which is the planet isn't being taken care of.

• Each YES Futures project is different based on who the person is and what they like to do, but every YES Futures project is dealing with the problem of needing to take care of our planet, and are tackling it at an educational level.
