• My goal for this project was to teach the students how to garden, so they may be able to take it home and start a garden of their own. To teach the students the lifelong skills of growing food and gardening.

• I created a presentation to teach the kids about gardening and the benefits of gardening. In my presentation the students learned about how to garden, how gardening contributes to the environment, how it can change their lives, photosynthesis, and where to get fresh fruits and vegetables.

• After the presentation, we played JEOPARDY to keep the students engaged. The game was a fun way to engage the students and to remember the things being taught.

• To collect data for my project, I created a pre-test survey and collected the growth among the plants.
